Noticeably better. I like that new wheel texture.

An improvement indeed! Cudos to "Neutral" for this. The only thing I prefer better in the old model is the texture used for the gold parts. The new texture seems to be too yellowish. But, you state that the textures are going to be reworked, so cool beans.

Glad to see an update :) .

Thanks for yet another update Mr.Robville!
I do agree with Thanoshld that the gold texture does look better in your old version. Other then that the car does look better in the new Neutral version, the wheels are much rounder now and the car proportions do look better now as you mentioned yourself.

greetings,
Leon

Description

So, it seems a little quiet again. But fear not! There are currently two things being worked on regarding the technical aspect of the mod. One, a lot of you wouldn't probably even notice, and another one which I think is really cool and also visually represented. More on that later.

Also, "Neutral" The creator of the Mafia Ikarus Mod, has laid his hands on the Renault Coupe DeVille -or Towncar- that I released back in 2012. He has made a ton of improvements by adding a lot more details and fixing a lot of the car's proportions. But not only that. The doors now open the correct way and the whole car has been finetuned to work flawless ingame as well.
Overall it now looks pretty much identical to the car's appearance from the Cameron movie. I know this is not how the car looked in reality, but the mod is set in a fictional universe anyway, so why not include what we all familiarize with?

There will be some extra work done on the textures to balance out the look of the car with the vanilla game. Chances are I'll re-release this as a separate download in the near future.
