The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

I agree, the rusty look was pretty good. Well, I guess if the battleship could be abit like the Needleships from Homeworld, I'd say they'd look better with the current aesthetic.

Clearly then the Fenachrone were a rogue cell of the larger Frenacon whole, mis-saying their name in order to hide their tracks.

well if you read the skylark series you would know that Seaton obliterated the Fenachrone homeworld. However, it is implied that some may have survived by being off-world at the time. so in this case you could be correct, fannon speaking. They just renamed themselves the Frenacon.

Ha! I haven't gotten that far in the series(still going through the first book), but that sounds quite intriquing. I wasn't being serious, really, just making a riff on how in Mass Effect 2 the leader of Cerberus excuses every horrible and sickening thing his employees have done with "Oh, that was just a rogue cell!". It got the point where it seemed like he was an imbecile leading a group where 9 out of ten of his people were in rogue cells.

have problem with these units in game that they don't automatically fire thier 'megalaser'.
