The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

You are right, but when Stalker will have anims for changing the firing type, the Zone will be habitable again. The following would be amazing: when holstering the gun it does an anim switching it to safety then lowering the gun, vice versa for taking your weapon out and changing between 1 round, 2 round etc, full auto

I also love that all the models you've shown so far have a lot more depth in the modeling, but will this cause a bigger hit in rendering?

Will we see these in New Vegas someday? I will replay it in the future because I missed out on some great mods lol, checked the internet too late and I'm right at the end of the game, and only completed 1 DLC
They are available for it it already. This gun has been available for New Vegas for a couple of weeks.

It Looks really good. My only reserve is about the fake reflection on the scope lens since it will probably looks odd in the underground levels. By the way, did you use painted lighting for this one ?
I baked some lighting on with the normal and specular maps in Max. It does still use the same normal/spec ingame so it doesn't really look static, though. :v
