The labs always leave so many questions unanswered. And this isn't helping at all, I always wonder what all the random machines are for.
this isnt random :) its a 2 level room, the big one in the middle is the "core" and the rest needs to be discovered :)
Really nice! But it's intersting too look at DX 8.1 screenshot of same place too - for comparison.
Will players be able to adjust bump's depth? Just sometimes i don't like r2 because of too "deep" bump. And i want to see r2 shadows appears not in 20-30 meters radius around player - it's sucks, one more reason why r1 is better (r1 shadows are all the time on their places). Longer shadow drawing distance will make FPS lower, but it will be looking perfectly ^___^
