some screens from Lost Alpha level design/redesign
the streets just looks weird, to clean and devoid of any debris or age.
we used the old beta screenshots as reference. the zone is not a worldwar zone, its a desolated area, where everything was taken what can be moved :)
beta screenshots? Well I expected the devs would add age and decay, the pavement has no cracks in it, no leaves or anything you would expect to find in a city that has been abandoned for decades. Also not everything was moved, just look at real photos.
leaves are there, just invisible from such height. check old screens or 1935 beta, and you will see what i mean :)
