some screens i found digging the screenshots folder in LA. they were made during summer, so hud is not the same on every screen, it changed a lot during the developent. currently (and i think it will be the final version) we have the health & stamina bars on the hud.
Top-right clock?! And small radioactive-indicator icon?! Nice! ;)
clock can be disabled in config. the glass is a thirst indicator. you need to drink water at least 2x in a day :)
I always wanted a feature like that! I found it strange how you were able to survive without any water what so ever!
OK now let player Poop and pee and it's perfect.
Could be cool to pee dead bloodsucker to mouth after I kill him ...
It reminds old duke nukem 3D, where you could use toalet and it gave you little bit health... and in cinematic he sh*t to defeted boss's neck reading newspaper ...that was awsome=D
Nice. Is thirst separate from hunger? Or is it replaced?
yep its separate stuff. we also disabled the vanilla hunger, and made new hunger and thirst manager which we can control as we wish.
Cool, this will really boost the immersion factor.

Its great to know you guys made your own hunger/thirst system. A little more stable maintenance for necessities should further maintain the survive of the fittest atmosphere which only lasts in the beginning of vanilla SoC.
I'm just wondering how is the player going to refill his goatskin... or is there an other system? Let it be surprise 'till mod's release.

Good question. I hope it does first, but then increases thirst even more.
Are there any side effects for not eating? Like decreased stamina or is it just going to be like vanilla SoC where if you don't eat at all you die?
Great pic and well done on the drink and food system - Soc's was a joke.....an even bigger joke was the death by sleeping bag in OL 2.2.
Hopefully this new system will re-create the survival feelings of stalker.
Downside is that drink icon - but ill probs change that so not complaining ;)
I added water to my own mod and made it so that after drinking a bottle of vodka to remove radiation drinking 2 bottles of water would get rid of the drunk vision.

Иконки в разработке. Как и инвентарные иконки, оружие и т.п.Это можно сделать потом. Хотя на сегодняшний момент я думаю графическая и визуальная составляющие уже готовы. Осталось довавить сюжет и квесты на все "старые-новые" локации. :)
Thirst? Cool! Makes gameplay more realistic, not only hunger.
