Really!? But this kind of light is a bit strong for such a small candle, is it tweakable? And did you improve how the engine handles GI? I thought it was always a PITA to enable GI on vanilla stalker :\
not controlable in game, only in sdk, but if you set it to low range, it looks ugly on r1. this lamp can simply cause such light (currently set to 4m range). We are not using GI in game, since its ca. 40% done, and not optimised. Thats why it's not turned on by default, and we keep that way :)

r2_allow_r1_lights are on by default since 2009, its needed, otherwise you wont have light on r2 in la at all :)
