you can use some pc-s in game, just like in fallout, and gather info, documents from it, or play games or listen to music... each pc has different background, and icon positions also randomised, and also somewhere only a few icons, somewhere more...

I God i knew a very similar mini-Mod for "Garrys Mod" wich is based on LUA, but i dindt thought somewhat like this is possible in XRAY.

Holy ****!... I NEVER saw this coming!! My only suggestion is make the computer's graphics look a bit older like it's intended for work in the zone. Wait... Is that TETRIS I SEE?!?! <8D
yep tetris, but there is a card game (solitare) and puzzle too :) well this way players will be able to download-transfer documents from old pc-s in labs etc, and it wont be boring so much since before we only had to look for paper documents... :)
Awesome! The computers down in the lab's should have an older feel; utility programs, cheaper graphics. And the newer computers would be on the surface used by the military, Duty, etc. It would add immersion and match the atmosphere.
Old computers should have Windows 95 or older with the old Green Background =D
no seriously, I mean like MS-DOS. or something custom tailored to suit an old soviet lab from the 80's.
because I don't think American systems would make their way to those labs.
Come on, we talk from Systems that were used between 86 and 2000. Between this time Graphical User Interfaces were allready available. I mean yeah there was (******) MS-DOS but before DOS they allready had a GUI (Amiga Systems), then came DOS and with Windows 3.X the GUI returned.
Many PC-Useres and Gamers can´t even handle a Command-Line so that would end in thousands of Threads like "how can i use PC´s in Lost Alpha?" or "where is the Mosue in Lost-Alpha PC´s, and what is that blinkin thingy?"
Logical the PC´s can have a GUI and i think it is better to let all the ingame PC´s have a GUI, cuz that´s easier for the People that don´t know a Commandline. Or do you want that LA include´s a Tutorial-Quest that teaches the Player how to use a Commandline?
Since you added PC's to the mod will there be quests like "Download x data to your pda and give it to person x"?
anyways... this mod blows... every other mod to hell...

Whoa...I mean, WOW! This is something really unique that I was not expecting from this Mod. I'm waiting for LURK 1.1...and NOW I'm waiting for Lost Alpha. I can only imagine the other cool things you're doing with LA. Good luck with LA guys, I can wait for a damn good mod like this!
Hmm, I think I might switch to the smart OS, if it wont have with the BSoD, or wont freeze. At the moment I will have to make do with what I have (blackPanther OS, but I will install windows just for this mod) :)
Oh, and also, will we have weather reports? Or any cool console tricks? And I am wondering what the DVD icon is for.

Ok, Stalker unmodded is one of the best games ever made, but this... OMG I CAN'T WAIT!
I want Pacman and a ZSnes emulator in this so I can play snes games, like Super Mario Allstars and Zelda: A Link to the Past.:)
Dont forget that that´s not a Ingame PC-Emu.
It looks like a PC, it can be handled like a PC, but it isn´t.
Code Programs for it is maybe harder than code Programs for a Real PC cuz of LUA....
Pacman can be possible i think, but a real Emulator inside a bunch of LUA-Code? Never....
Now just make it able to play Lost Alpha 2D and the mod will be perfect 0.o
oooh i see a DVD icon... you should have the STALKER movie on there, that ukraine or russian movie... that this game is slightly based off, that would be great.. and for those of you who never knew there was a STALKER movie, check it out, someone uploaded it on youtube.
