Hello,
If I am not mistaken, Sky4CE already implemented POM in stalker games. It should be possible to port it, but we have a feeling that it may break the old graphics atmosphere. If you wish and you know how to, you may try to port this feature, but you would be alone if you had any troubles during this process.
However, we may have second thoughts about this feature in future work ;)

Not really. LA is out, everyone knows it's graphics capabilities... this is just a gate which was added to a wall to let player pass the level quickly, instead of going all around.

I dont think I'm following what you are talking about.

It looks as if someone tried to apply a "sharpen" filter to the screenshot, since the edges of the leaves are all white and jagged. I was wondering if this is a "1:1" engine shot (with aa) or if it's an edited screenshot.

In which I am the one who got back a vague response and followed up with a question as to why you'd be mentioning adding a gateway for the player to leave quickly. I really don't get why this reaction feels to have some sort of agitation, dez. I was >honestly< wondering if someone applied a sharpen filter to it or not.

I meant no harm, but like always, the ModDB community and the downvotes make it seem like I do.

To add to this: I am one of the few who hasn't tried LA yet, since I've been waiting on the DC package. I didn't want to 'taint' my first play through.

I responded like that, because you asked this several times during the years, and I can only answer the same, we are posting ingame screenshots. If you don't see aa on them, or anything, it means, it's not there. Personally, I'm not fan of super graphics, because I don't have good pc, I always have aa disabled in every game, because my pc can not handle it, and I need that extra fps :)

So in short: the screens I post are based on my own user.ltx settings, which might not be the best, but thats all I can push out of my rig.

I just went through all screenshots posted on this page and I've found just 1 time, 1 single time anyone ever mentioned 3rd party tools in a screenshot and that's here, which wasnt even my reaction:

The rest was either -downvoted- constructive criticism, which god forbid is given to a modteam, or positive comments which in the flock of other positive comments probably went unnoticed.

Now, Dez, we've talked quite a few times in PM and I don't want to sound demeaning in any way, but posting the ":)" smiley won't suddenly make your reaction come off as friendly to me. I didn't come here to pick a fight, I came here to ask a question. You always seem to paint me off as 'the bad guy' with your reactions through the years, which I clearly remember, so that's why this reaction has surfaced. Not only you, but Vintar, who has the biggest ego, had your eye out on me for some reason.

I still wish you and the team well and look forward to, as Nasha said, the "final version" of the mod. I also stopped following the page to avoid further commenting on new media.

Nor have I, In all honesty the original release was a mess and I gave up on it after a few hours and several restarts. Since then I've been patiently waiting for the Developers cut I think it's called? Whatever it's name I imagine it'll be what was meant to be released instead of the bug-fest we got that was presumably rushed because of the leaked version.

If you wish to add AA in any game and you have a nVidia card, you may enable it in nvidia control panel. You can create and customize a graphics profile for any application/game you may install on your PC ;)

Long time no see dezoder - I'm thrilled to see an update on moddb. I feel guilty for not keeping track on your forums.

Reading the notes, my favorite changes are:
- More Alife added in nearly every level - something I always looked forward to
- re-enabled NPC artefact and hunting scheme
- Lowered detector sounds - Thank you! It actually got so annoying I stopped using high end detectors

A request - If your team hasn't already, make the entrance to the Bar more user friendly. I feel it forces players to take a long inefficient route in form of a maze to get to a rather frequent trading zone. Cheers.

hey! long time no see! we have plans with that locked door too, for example it could be opened with paying certain amount of money instead of waiting for a week to become the champion of the arena. I think thats the best at the moment, so players can decide if they want to play the arena match to open the door, or pay certain amount of money.

Description

We have just finished porting all weapons and hands from CoP, and finally with the help of r_populik, who joined us recently we managed to finish the porting of LA custom made weapons and hand huds on the hud system which we ported from CoP engine to LA engine.

Meanwhile, we finished fixing vegetation bugs we found, or which users reported since 1.3003 was out, which means we had to recompile many levels, also decided to edit certain levels, which you will notice after the release of DC. Our programmers are working hard on finishing the skills module as well. Well, thats all for now, here is the usual changes log:
