Sounds like cheat mod :) Prices of items were carefully balanced as well as many other aspects of LA DC.

LOST ALPHA IS A CHEAT MOD ITSELF, Its non balanced at all, you always do a mission only lost and lost money and bullets, and the prizes of buy/sell are a joke, you need like 20k to buy a good crap weapon but if you sell a perfect repair new good weapon it brings you like 550ru, wow much sense, very realistic, lot difficult, FFS the creators put all that numbres without think any second or test it.

No idea why, but game CTDs when I go a city block near Crash in Dead city. Odd seeing how it has been working great so far. Deleted the files and tried again and was able to go and talk to Crash. Going to make my way to Outskirts and see if Barman crashes now that he moved and will try to get to the 2nd secret trader. See if its ONLY the secret traders with this issue.

Hey guys, first off let me say, this mod changed the game for me in a HUGE way. It seemed way off-balanced before. Now I am actually enjoying it a lot more.

Has anyone else noticed that the barman, when he moves to the outskirts after the attack on the Rostok bar, has raised his prices?

He now wants 75000ru for an exo-suit, whereas before he only asked like 36000 (or something to that effect)?

Is this normal because of the bar attack? or did my game get borked?

For future users:

This mod essentially makes the grind cease to exist. If you want a challenging economy, this isn't for you.

To give an example, when I leave the Cordon with vanilla trade rates, scrounging for every cent I can make and even selling artifacts to Sid which I don't normally do (I always save em for the Ecologists, for Science! ... and more pay I guess) I managed to have about 30,000 roubles left over by the time I was ready to leave. This includes killing every military guy in the area save the guys at the Cordon entrance.

My expenses were repairing an MP5 I had found, buying out Sids 9x19mm ammo twice so I had plenty for the next stages of the game. That 30k was sank into buying the worst NVGs in the game that he sells (which without the night vision mod I have is so blurry it quite literally worthless) for 10k, and the Sunrise-3 suit, the worst one you can get, for I want to say around 28k.

With this mod I floated at around 20-30k for most of the game until Yantar, when I sold all of my artifacts to Sakahrov, which landed me into about 200k instead. This was with very passive looting. I only ever really grabbed select food items, water bottles, and any medical supplies I found. Occasionally i'll pick up a unique weapon to sell for a better chunk, or sell a weapon I find prestine. Also missions, I do a decent amount of missions as well.

This mod does not unlock things early for you to buy, so you will still be limited to low end gear until you reach the appropriate area, but you won't have to make every round count or sweat about how you're going to afford you next gas tank. Just enjoy the gameplay and... story. Also if anyone is too worried, no I still had to scrounge pretty hard to buy the BTR. No sure how you even could get that in vanilla.

this mod is especially needed if you are using the definitive car pack addon (which released very recently)
