This is what I get when I try GC. This is why I'm not attempting it yet.

Is it a fully armed and operational battle station?
(Although, doesn't look like it, judging by the ion effects).

Let's see. You tried to replace the pirate asteroid base with this one including the little station in GC view and you end up with a station half the size of the galaxy.
The small station in GC is just that, a very very small model of the station in the spacemap.
If i'm right i can fix it for you.
Maybe he should just leave it for the first release so when anyone goes in gc all they can say is WTF lolz
lol, cheese i belive that warb is right on that one, i kinda did the same thing when i was messing with stations myself, i replace the standard model ith the GC preview one and boom! hehe ;) just scale it down to be tiiiiney tiny

Ok so I looked at this for like 30 seconds and finally realized that the blurred ou items are actually the planets.
lol it looks like you did the opposite of what the pheonix rising team did. they had miniture level 5 star bases under every single last planet in there galactic conquest. you ended up with a single, massive station dead smack in the middle of the galaxy though.
and idea: make it a super duper expensive unit that you can only get one of. like 10,000,000,000 credits, and rebel unit may not pass on any of the planets/lanes it touches (however, imperial units move around on the inside of that thing)
I think I've got it fixed now.
