Since 2 years back when Frunken Productions was founded, me and my colleagues have been improving our skills in the HPL engine day by day. After creating, building, crafting and forging a very high amount of maps, scripts and models, we felt like it was time to put our skills together, and start on something revolutionary for the Amnesia community. A mod that would shine through it's competitors and reach the top.
Something that could get close to matching the original Amnesia: The Dark Descent game in map- and event design. This may not be possible, but our hopes were, and still are, very high. Five months after we started developing our dream mod, we have come a long way, and we feel like we want to show our progress and give you guys an insight in our workflow.
On this mod page we will continously be updating our progress, and if we reach 100 trackers, we will once again pick up our blog and youtube channel, to provide you with weekly news on how we are doing, along with what you guys can do to improve your own modding.

7th of June 2014 - Update #2

Some new and some updated screenshots uploaded!

The teaser-trailer footage is now done and we're sending it over to our editor, who's really talented. We're hyped about how it will turn out and I'm sure you guys will be very excited!

Major changes have been made to some of the maps, and as of right now it's time to implement the story elements to the first of the two chapters that this mod will contain. Although some struggles with the writing, we think we can start wrapping it up now. The maps for the second chapter is being built as I'm writing this.

As far as mapping is concerned, we have some stuff that you have never seen before in an Amnesia mod. Take a look at the screenshots of the mines for an example. We'll have working mine carts in the release version, that takes you through these beautifully designed tunnels with tons of mapping-hours spent on them. You'll love it!

Talking about the scares and the monsters - you'll see a completely new way of interaction as we introduce specific enemy animations for several dynamical encounters where the enemies are designed to engage you in the most terrific way possible - based on your playstyle. You'll get chilled to the core, for sure.
