Okay, I just need to know how to run it. I placed the "In Lucy's Eyes" folder in the main Amnesia directory, and...now what? Do I put the batch file in the main directory, or do I have to override my Amnesia files in order to play?
Did you read the intructions in the news post? You have done the first 2 steps. You need to follow the 3rd one and forward (Open the "In Lucy's Eyes" folder and launch the .bat file from there) :)
All right, I got it. I will wait until tonight to play it.
I got an error message after opening the .rar file saying ' Failed to uncompress InLucysEyes/billboards/fp_moon.mat files ' Is this something really bad or is it something I can ignore? I use UnCompress on Windows 8.1 by the way.
I started the game and there are a lot of textures missing...

Yes, I did. The only thing I did different was that I used UnCompress to open the .rar file..
So.. How do I fix this?
I've never used that program, I suggest you use winrar instead. Can't say more than that regarding UnCompress.

when i click the door to enter the castle in the very beginning i get the ''fatal error could not load the script file...entrance.hps...no matching signatures to moveplayerforward...'' what that could be? :(
You need to get the Justine patch! The A Machine for Pigs patch works too. If you need help getting these, let me know.

I did not get amnesia through steam, will I still be able to play this custom story along with others? if so, how do i go about it?
Yes you will! Download process might be a bit different, so if my video explanation didn't work, put the InLucysEyes folder in your redist folder instead.

How do i fix it?
I keep crashing when I open the castle door. It has some thing to do with 01_entrance.hps in the error message. I have a legal non-steam version updated to 1.3.1.
This error appears when you don't have the 1.2 patch installed. Are you sure your game is updated to 1.3.1?
