Taylorcraft "Auster" and Piper L4 "Grasshopper" image - Company of Heroes: IMMERSION 1944 mod for Company of Heroes
Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.
Time for the allies to undertake their recon flights with appropriate planes.
The "Grasshopper" will replace the P47 Thunderbolt in the U.S. recon flight ability.
The "Grasshopper" also has a special appearance in the Encounters Mission: "Catch me if you can", depicting Major Carpenters actions during the Battle of Arracourt, where he had bazookas installed and was credited with knocking out a German armored car and four tanks.
The "Auster" replaces the Typhoon recon planes and so it will appear in various campaign missions.
