Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.

A beautiful recreation of one of the ugliest tanks of the war.

I think it's adorable. Then again I think it's just Brigador's loyalist tanks making me develop fondness for goofy huge turret yet packing a huge punch tonks.

Because he said in his own word that he will record tutorials but nothing came out of it. I’ve been waiting for a year now
I thought Germans are true to their words. Yes is a Yes but this is the first time I encountered such a thing.

Halftrack - great CoH mod. How and where is the Challenger going to be available in game? As a replacement to Firefly?

Description

The Challenger was the result of mating the fast Cromwell tank with the excellent 17-pounder AT Gun. To achieve this, a pretty large turret was designed and the hull of the Cromwell was also lengthened. Although the result looked somewhat clumsy, the Challenger was not higher than the Firefly and was liked by its crews, especially for its mobility. Around 250 were built and transfered to the tank units from May 44 on. A few already saw service in the Normandy campaign and a significant number was used during Operation Market Garden.
