Israeli Defense Force: Fight for Independence is a Total Conversion modification for the PC game Battlefield 2 (A.K.A. BF2). What we aim to achieve with this mod is to immerse the player into the historic wars involving Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, which are the 6-Day War, the War of Attrition, and the Yom Kippur War. The player will be able to play as a common soldier, crewmember, or pilot in these wars. The mod will feature historically accurate equipment such as the famous Russian AK-47, the fearsome SO-4050 bomber, the menacing IS3 and M48 tanks, and much, much more. Also, the maps will recreate actual battles that happened in these wars, to complete a historically-accurate and immersive modification. IDF:FFI is also a member of the acclaimed cooperative gaming studio Black Sand Studios.
In total, Arab countries added up to 100,000 troops to Egypt and Syria's frontline ranks. Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and several other Arab states were involved in the Yom Kippur War, providing troops, weapons and financing. The expeditionary forces fought mainly on the Syrian front and played a large role in slowing the IDF counter-attack into Syria.
We want to add an Arab Expeditionary force faction in our next release. This faction will consist of differnet Arab soldiers that fought on the Syrian front. They will have thier own unique vehicles & soldiers. We show here a Pakistani Mig-19 and an Iraqi Su-7.
I got the idea to add the expeditionary forces by one of our fans, Aliminhas. He is from Pakistan and wanted us to add Pakistani soldiers and vehicles to our mod.
Aliminhas has also started his own BF2 mod, called Zarb-e-azb. In his mod you will be able to play as a modern Pakistani soldier and fight against various militant groups. It will include the vehicles and weapons of the Pakistan army. It looks really promising, check it our!

Thanks, I really like this Iraqi camouflage, I just had to get it in our mod somehow. Iraq did send many troops to fight in the 1973 war, so it will be cool to create a faction to represent them in the next release.
This looks like its gonna have a lot of firepower. Can i ask It will have all of this equipment on all maps or it will be separated by different maps and situations?
Different maps will have different versions. One map may have an Su-7 with all rockets, another map will have the bomber version. We will mix it up to make it interesting.
