Rebirth is an upcoming game modification that seeks to add more depth to the gameplay, as well as new races. While we are looking to add new game mechanics, we also want to ensure that we'll end up releasing a dynamic, fast paced game that is strategically deep, and offers interesting interactions. Meanwhile we also want to ensure that balance is a #1 priority. In the future, we are looking to add new races, too. We are also drafting concepts for a single player campaign.
This huge Carrier has a tremendous docking capacity. Its hull is stronger than a battleship's one, and it carries enough weaponry to deal with smaller vessels like destroyers until it gets backed up. Able to repair your smaller crafts very fast, it can also dock frigates, though it cannot build them. It is a corner stone which a proper Hiigaran fleet cannot afford to overlook.
when will we see this ship in game?
Once we'll get the modding tools that'll come out with the 25 Feb release, and the HD textures.
What kind of firepower does this have and will it be able to defend itself well unlike the current defenseless carrier?
It'll have 2 ions canons and 4 x2 pulsar turrets.
