Advanced mod: Revived is a Home World 2 modification that specializes in taking the 2 existing races and expanding upon them. The idea, is to add in multiple different new ships, re-arm every ship in the game, and specialize each ship with a blended, but still clear role. By giving the player more options, and doing it in a professionalized manner the mod "advances" the gameplay of Homeworld 2 into something different, something more fun, and yet still tactically fulfilling.

Yes, the pipes are gone, at long last. They have been replaced with blocky armored extrusions.

Thanks. Currently, I need to make the glow textures (simple enough, blue tent the normal textures and highlight in green the glow points) Then piece it together with the HOD tool and I will be doing some in-game tests, so, roughly 3 hours more work.

The density of detail in the textures varies too much I think. In some sections details are almost nil, while in other places details have a greater pixel density than on similar sized HW2 ships. The engines and nose look like they are missing textures entirely in some places.

Your right, the pixel, and detail density isn't consistent, also if you look closely at a few of the lines the texturing is far from seem-less. I actually noticed that earlier, but for a first time modeling, and texturing job, I think it came out pretty good, and I have no intention of changing it. :P
My future models on the other hand, will be done better.

P.S. It also doesn't help I used paint and not photoshop.

Paint.net? Microsoft Paint?!? You're making it too hard on yourself. Get GIMP.

Thanks much, played around with it for a little bit already. This is going to make future jobs MUCH easier.

So you want this baby to have a Laser Pulse Cannon on this? I personally think that you should simply use a Triple Rapid-Fire Lance Laser. The Technology of the Trinity Cannons is just way too big for a corvette chassis.

Just my opinion. ;)

True, but don't you remember? Advanced Mod has introduced the "Berzerker Laser Cannon System" (Medium sized laser between the size of the BC's laser, and the laser corvette's lasers.) which is the type of laser that this corvette will fire. I made this corvette for the soul purpose of being a Vaygr heavy corvette much like the Hiigaran siege, and strike corvettes.

Hm, ok... but still. The energy required to fire this thing can't come from just a corvette's generator. Or the rate of fire is very low.

I simply wanted to suggest that you use the Lance Laser's projectile animation and not the (totally oversized for a corvette) Pulse Laser shots.
