The lead developer on the project, William went to go work on a new project called Optic. As for I, I went to go work on another project as well called "Censored". I literally released no information about it and this will be the first time I even mentioned the name. You'll hopefully see more of it by the end of the summer. While, working on Censored is something I do on my off time, working on Here Come the Hacks! is something I do when I'm off from working on my off time. The original reason the development stopped for a long time is because William and I both agreed that the mod we were both working on was just stale and boring as hell. I just held on to it for a little longer not wanting to kill it. I did a little bit of work on it over time, but nothing has really been "Finished". So today we are releasing all the content for Here Come the Hacks!
This is to say, that development on this project has officially came to a stop.
If you'd like to take over it and make it something then do so. Just let us know, because we'd be interested in seeing what you want to do with it!

Borderlands: Source
... I want... No, I need to see how floppy the Source ragdolls can get, put the ragdolls on steroids
Unaturally floppy!
B cuz this is a random mod right xD
There was a similar (now dead) idea before, namely: www.moddb.com/mods/manhack-attack
I've already stated my opinion there that manhacks are one of the worst enemies in HL2. At least one always hit you no matter how vigilant you are, also they are horrible and unsatisfying to fight against when attacking you in numbers.
Now I can already see you put more effort into this than the other guy did in his mod, but I'm not sure how will this turn out in terms of gameplay. If it's something like the "Suicide Survival" mod with manhacks I can see a potential for it.
Also I like the cel shaded idea (yeah, one can argue it's overused, but I personally can never get bored of it) but the map's textures needs to be cartoony as well for it to really work.
