Hello there.
This is my attempt at making a mod out of my own HD JC Denton texture that I created for my own videos.
Creating my own character causes a bug in the menu, where instead of spawning as a camera, you spawn as JC, and you can see the menu level yourself. I somewhat fixed this by making the DX logo frozen.
This mod also contains HD Letters (another mod I made but never got around to upload it) for the "Deus Ex", instead of the low resolution ones that come with the game.
The mod contains two packs. Face only, and full body.
The HD textures are
>The face
>the shirt
>the jacket
>the pants + shoes
>the sunglasses
>the lenses
>the HD letters on "Deus ex"

I wanna thank MCBanana and Buttercreamer Business for helping me test the package.

I really like the face texture - but I wish you kept more with original style for the outfit.
Well, this wasn't designed as a high definition version of the original costume, but for a parody on the Internet. I do like the looks of it though.
I guess that would make sense on a regular high res texture. But I wanted something more "happy" for my videos.
I might try and give it a shot some day.
that's cool - is it possible just to use the face texture? Are you planning on updating any more of the DX character face textures?
Either way - thanks for releasing this :)
Yeah, there are two packages in the mod. Just the face/sunglasses/lenses, or the fully body.
I don't really know about updating more people, there are so many characters, heh.
right on - I am definitely going to download this and see how it looks in game.
Definitely a lot of characters, lol - I'd help out if I could but I haven't done any texture work since I did basic re-skins when I was into modding Morrowind like 13 years ago. Either way - thanks for the JC face - if you don't end up tackling getting all the re-skins done hopefully this mod inspires somebody to take it on as from what I can tell it definitely has a positive visual impact on DX. :)
I used to mod Morrowind too. I used to do lots of flying islands full of houses and stuff.
Never got around doing many quests, its so sensitive and one simple mistake ruins your entire mod.
No doubt - I released one fair sized mod - a desert island with about 9 or 10 really simple quests with dialog and a little bit of scripting on a few of those quests. I was 15 at the time - so the writing wasn't great. But I am still happy that I was able to get it done and released - even though I feel I'd be embarrassed by it if I tried to play it now, lol
