I will use "HP1" abbreviation for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone/Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone game.
This mod is for use with DirectX11 renderer only!!! It will not work without it
Also I slightly improved tessellation.cfg from this mod adding additional lines for floor textures. I didn't noticed tessellation to even work ingame, but just in case. Also, if anyone have time and skill - you could create normal and height maps for upscaled textures like in another games with this renderer
In terms of HD textures mod these two releases of the HP1 game only differ in main menu's logo. I upscaled both variants. Base version of the upscale mod is for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. But you can download small addon, containing only Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone upscaled logos and overwrite them on top of upscale mod.
Mod is compatible with near anything HP1 related
I tried to recheck textures for transparency and also didn't upscale some HUD elements, fonts and decal textures. But some transparent textures could cause visual artifacts if I missed them and upscaled them as non-transparent textures. It's just a warning. I played through first levels and didn't find any bugs.
In case you are experiencing them just create a screenshot and upload here, I will fix it. Or you can find these particular texture in mod and just delete them.
Jaggy polygons, dancing/moving on camera angle change
This is because of tesselation, which works somewhat funny in this game. You could try to leave it on, but I didn't noticed any huge improvements. Try it for yourself. In case you want stable picture, disable it in c:\Users\<you user profile>\Documents\Harry Potter\HP.ini file (game do not use System\HP.ini from game folder)

thanks a lot for the mod!
But there are a few graphical errors when using it.
Some roofs and cobwebs have lines that go across the screen: Imgur.com
(Haven't fully played through it yet to see if there are more places where this occurs)
Is there a way to fix this?
How do you fix the menu being cut off on 16:9 resolution?
I completed the game and found no issues with the textures.
There are few glitches with transparent arches and webs, BUT: they were in the original game as well, developers wrongfully applied textures to this objects and I can't fix this only by replacing textures
