Hello all! Wanted to start posting our SotP 2 progress on Moddb once again-we've been busy for a while retooling the mod from scratch, literally rebuilding our codebase and art assets from the ground up to provide a more stable, optimized experience when the mod releases again. This is taking a bit because several of our high-end devs (Unikraken, myself and Lord-Set) have been hired at Stardock and are now working on Sins of a Solar Empire 2 as well! While our time is a little more spotty these days I assure you we're working on top quality assets and new techniques for the next release for you all to enjoy.

To that end, I wanted to start posting some of our new and improved art assets with fresh PBR materials as SotP 2 will be using the Sins remastered shaders! Everything will look much more shiny and realistic in the new build and we hope you all like the improved direction. I'm personally working on our suite of UNSC materials as we speak and will be showcasing them soon as well.

Its awesome to know that you guys are picking up straight into sose2. I think this mod especially will benefit from a lot of the technological innovations.

We're actually not moving to Sins 2, these screenshots are all in the original game. It's definitely a testament to the visual upgrade that comes with the work that the Sins Remastered team has done.
