Our representation of Halo's iconic space combat in the Homeworld 2 engine, which puts the player in command of some of the most powerful weapons fielded by the UNSC and Covenant and to provide a balanced and competitive experience.
It will take more than 50 frigates, and a some cruisers to take down the 3.3-mile long Assault carrier.
holy ****!
i would cap it insted
How many K's in a mile? 1.6 or something like that?
1.6 kilometers = 1 mile, just like you said
If you want ships in the campaign, just edit one of the Persist files. Comment of Pm me if you need any more help about that.
Depending on whether it's nautical or not, nut generally it's averaged to about 1.6 kilometers
BTW, this pic was taken in the campaign
um... where do i put the mod files in the bin or data or where? T.T
go to the front page of this mod, or news section
what a beast...
I made a mistake, it's actually 3.3 miles long (checked with halopedia)
CALL IN CHUCK NORRIS!!!!!
It takes more that 6 Astreaeus, 25 Marathon 25 Halcyon and over 75 frigates to take down one of these.
"DANG how do you stop that thing !?!"
even Chuck Norris would get owned. In the actual fake halo universe it would take 2 halcyon and a couple of frigates.
By the way A Covenant super carrier looks exactly the same as an assault carrier, except the super carrier is like 10x bigger I think.
It has been estimated that the Super Carrier is ~27 Kilometers long
so roughly 5 times. =P
The Covenant Super Carrier looks EXACTLY the same as the Assault carrier Except the super carrier is (as unikraken said) 27 kilometers or 88,582 ft long.
i'm sorry but you'd need a car or some form of transport that that goes faster than 60MPH to get from one end of the ship to the other in a reasonable ammount of time
Is that from actual experience or just exageration?
Cause an Astreus is meant to take one of these things to about 25%
No, there was something on the HBO forums where they did a comparison between a Corvette and a Frigate of known length, and then the comparison of the Corvette to the Supercarrier.
Experience, I just completed a game against AI just too look at the firepower of these beasts. I don't know why but three of my Astraeus got didn't want to fire their MACs and my Halcyons launched missiles but no MAC too. I took one down to around 10% but the second had it's full health and I had less than a quarter of my whole fleet left ...
Yeah, the firing MAC thing is definitely a problem atm. It's just an AI issue when we tried to tweak with behaviours - we tried to have it so the ship would prioritise lining up it's MAC when it was available, and inbetween it would basically dog-fight, but it only seems to do the latter and ignores the MAC right now.
I took down an ac with two marathons 6 frigates and 3 halcyon, I attacked from all different angles and kept jumping to slipspace After I fired a salvo of missiles or MAC rounds
all of the UNSC ships look like untextured blobs for me, are they supposed to look like that or does my computer just hate me
No
Most of them are untextured blobs
Its nor just you. Dont worry about it
are you adding in unsc super carrier's and super battle ships, i know they have them they are in teh halo books but not the game,
There aren't any UNSC Super battleships in the books. there is one known super carrier The Trafalgar
which i am currently haveing trouble coding
Should definitely put Super MACS into this game to even the playing field. At least the covenant doesn't get these in the beginning of the game
There's something called MAC Station, quoting Sgt Jonhson 'that MAC gun can put a round clean through a Covenant capital ship'
an orbital super MAC gun, Just play halo 2, or read Fall of Reach, it goes into detail of a super MAC cannon
Did you guys include a super carrier in the mod? That beast is 27 kilometers in length.
Holy balls. That seems a tad mismatched. Will there be any kind of balancing factor? Like UNSC ships being quicker to produce or Covie ships costing more or something?
