Look at this...Just look at this shit! This is what being a modder looks like. The ugly, dirty, gritty, behind-the-scenes look at pure, unadulterated HELL! I already Bluescreened once...time to break out the 'ol bag of tricks!
My PC atm:
2 compiles running, 3 .txt files open for correction, Hammer is open for last map adjustments, talking on Discord with teammembers and testers, audio/video editing.
Our PCs will be a museum exhibit after release :) .
Weird things I see on here
Hope you release a bit of side DLC to help support yourself like Half-Life CAGED did. This kind of PC build is unacceptable D:
Agreed haha - I don't think my computer is top of the range (i5 2500k with 8Gb RAM) but I can compile even my most massive map in around 4-5 minutes with VHLT's compile tools!
Thing is, our maps are not that big, but very detailed. That drives VIS crazy, adding up to more than overnight compile times.
But, we tackled that issue and it's full steam ahead!
