Half-Rats: Parasomnia Demo Out Now! news

The Whiskey, Meat pies and Colt Peacemaker are back, baby! But this time better than ever. And they've brought a few new friends!

So, take Silent Hill, F.E.A.R. and Half-Life, mix them all together and take them back to the Victorian era...what do you have? We'll do the math for you! The answer? "Half-Rats: Parasomnia" - the second installment of the Half-Rats series. Half-Rats is back with a new inventory system, "realistic" drunkenness simulation and the new creed of, "shop 'till you drop!". Well, not overtly...but you now have the ability to purchase items with cash you find along the way.

That's not all - Half-Rats now has new, cooler enemies to play with, and a reinvented melee combat system...You know what? Why am I trying to convey this with words of all things? Just check out the videos and pictures!

Due to the UV projection I use, I will need a straight-on frontal shot of your face and neck, as well as a profile shot. I'll need it in diffused lighting - such as outside on an overcast day. Get one of your friends to snap these photos; or if you are particularly skillful, but at the same time, a loner and/or rebel, do it on your own-some. Poor Nic will have the displeasure of rigging all these heads onto the bodies. Our prayers are with you, child.

Animals that DON'T want to rend your body will indeed be a thing in HR:P...See below!

HR:P will include a Combat Cat, or "C-squared", or "CC"...or "Most Sagacious Feline Fighter". Whatever its distinction; Half-Cat is based on "Cheroots", a cat of mine that was killed last year during the development of HRAFD. This is my way of immortalizing him. The texture/skin was made from the few photos I had of him. He will of course be a friendly NPC that will assist in combat...in case you didn't catch that before.
