Years have passed since the Black Mesa incident. Since then, things have gone to hell.
People are being killed by the millions by a force beyond our comprehension,
the world is in absolute chaos, destruction washes over like a roaring sea of agony,
and the human race is closing on it's demise.
Absolute doom is inevitable, and all hope is lost.
None of that matters, though, because you've been awoken from your slumber...

Hey all!
How've you been? I've been busy.
VERY busy.
So busy that, in fact, I have something pretty damn big to show you guys.
A few months ago, I promised some big things.
Well, that sort of feel apart a bit. You know how it goes.
BUT, guess what? Your boy pulled through!
I put together a little gameplay reveal/teaser to kinda show you guys where I'm at with development. This'll give you a taste of what it is that I've been working on all this time.
Please keep in mind, this is all pre-alpha stuff. It's rough around the edges and doesn't represent the final product.

I think it would be cool if the crowbar was replaced by a new melee weapons that looks 'similar' to an actual crowbar. It wouldn't make sense for Gordon to still carry that weapon around if he's been trapped in Xen for years. It's more likely that a makeshift melee weapon would replace it, or that he would modify the crowbar in some way.
I also think it would be cool if the original design for Gordon, nicknamed "Ivan", would play a role in this game perhaps. I envision him as another Black Mesa employee working in another department, being involved mostly in manual labour. I could see him being a badass co-op character, or an NPC maybe.
