'Forget about Freeman!' probably is the shortest and most unremarkable of Half-Life chapters. There are short visits to several underground areas of the Black Mesa Research Facility but Gordon also ventures back to the surface to fight more HECU forces.
As the HECU forces are retreating from Black Mesa, you'll encounter more and more aliens as the invasion of earth continues. In 'Surface Tension' it slowly becomes apparent that the human forces are losing the battle and I've tried to continue this idea into this new chapter. You will see how the remaning HECU are struggling to hold their positions and how conflict is starting to take its toll.
Next to this new chapter, this new version of HL:Enriched will also add new and improved models for various monsters and NPCs. You might have seen few in the previous media update, but here are some more! The Scientist Zombie and the Alien Slave have recieved quite the update with new higher resolution textures and more polies. The Alien Slave now takes advantages of a unused bit of Half-Life code. When it charges its bolt, you can see the collar glowing brighter.
Next to this new content, I've also updated and fixed previous chapters. One very noticable difference is the small Xen portion after the Test Chamber incident. All terrain has been remade from scratch and many new details fill the scene.
'We've got Hostiles" was also updated with full support for detail textures, of which you can watch this video!
