Half-Life Alyx is On Sale for the 25th Anniversary of the Franchise!
Like so many other people on this website creating Half-LIfe mods, the original game and the franchise has made a large impact on our gaming history. We are just as excited as everyone to celebrate Half-Life's 25th anniversary this weekend.

Animation Update Feedback and Improvements
We have listened to feedback regarding the animation update and this newest update already has some of these things included such as improved ADS. Here are things we are looking at to improve for animations & more:
➡️ Better weapon sway & movement
➡️ Improved & snappier ADS
➡️ Improving the grenade throw animation
➡️ Faster firing animation for the pistol
➡️ Improving overall animation quality
We appreciate all the feedback we received and will continue to improve and build the mod with the community. There are even more things we want to improve but those are the top ones people have given us feedback on so far. Thanks again to this amazing community! We built a great foundation to improve the animations. The floating guns were outstaying their welcome. Finally the floating guns are dead! Long live the floating guns! They served us well!
We are making improvements daily so please follow the Git or use the launcher daily to update! Check the changelog on Git to see what is being added daily.
This latest update for the mod provides even more options for interactivity, updates to physics, and even some of the first updates to animations from community feedback. Interactivity Updates
We have made passes to a lot of small details such as being able to slide down the slide, interact with the piano, locked doors having locked animations and much more. This helps make the world feel alive and build more of the infinite interactivity the VR version is known for.

Physics Updates
Along with these smaller interaction updates, we have made improvements to the physics collision system in game for both items and the player. The video displays this in a testing environment:

We have also made improvements to puzzles to ensure they are more in-depth and replicate their VR versions better such as the sub-station puzzle on top of the Northern Star as seen in the video below:
