Cool 40 seconds of video that shows some new features of Am.
Recorded using Fraps. Work in progress by RED_NED. Enjoy!
Very nice WIp! ;D
Cool!
As always great work!
Bluh, I want those textures :I
If this is WIP, I can't wait for the mod!
I like how the head moves around when you run.
Verynice.
Love the bobbing effect or whatever.
Person seems like hes at the correct height in my POV :)
EDIT:
that is ofcourse if hes an average size man.LOL
i know its still wip, but everything seems perfect to me, except the asphalt texture, and i guess it needs a little more props on the ground, but still a very good map
but what new features is the video showing?
hehe, thanks for the comments; its a bit bare in this video, but its much more detailed now. The ground needs re-doing though because its way too flat ;)
It isnt really meant as a 'showcase' of features, but the map includes a lot of the new ropes and cables that are a really cool addition, plus some of the surfaces like the windows and a few floors have a new 'shine' though thats more of a modification on an old feature.
When I finish this area, I'll give Sysop a higher resolution video to post if he wants.
awesome :D i hope this mod dont die like all the others o_o
Beautiful. I have all my faith in you SysOp!! Swear to God >< I hope you finish this! This will probably be the last greatest HL Mod in HL History.
OMG best lovely comment evar!
I still hate the First person view effects. Make them a little less noticeable.
Heya, thanks for the reply :) Which first person effects are you referring to? The view bobbing up and down when you move?
I understand what you mean, but in the full game it isnt as noticable and combines with the other effects such as blur and things splattering on the screen like blood and rain to make it more immersive - it makes the game a much more hectic experience in firefights.
Also, most of the time you are moving slowly using cover (the bobbing only really happens when you are running) and works well with the gun animations.
Nice, even though this is quite old. :)
traaaacking
Is his neck broken? I hope this isnt how it looks ingame...
