GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".

This is how this game should have been remastered!! The GMDX team stays unbelievably faithful to the game, takes away nothing, but adds a perfect touch of new, and polished..I was impressed...not to mention the years iv been waiting too get this...I was not let down..Runs like a dream..I had too tinker a bit at first but once I had the right render...zero problems, and nice too see the bugs fixed to..For those having it crash when trying to use the scope...change the rendering..Thanks guys, and, nice people still play this gem...This could easily be a marketable remaster. Prepare to have your mind blown further: it was developed mostly only by one person! I'm glad you hold my work in high regard. I went all-in. Edited by: |Totalitarian| |

Hi Totalitarian, I also want to say thanks for the work. I send you a little donation every time I replay now : ) I'm eagerly awaiting what will happen in future as it seems that between RSD and Cv10 there is still alot of motivation in keeping this mod going. Hopfully everyone can work together to keep it alive and seperatism doesn't cause issues. I was about to start my 2nd replay of GMDX with Cv10 but think I'll put it off until I see what happens with RSD. Edited by: TheOther(other)One |

Thanks for the donations. I do not recommend Cv10. It rolls back many features and misses the point. vRSD is a surer bet. In the meantime, a replay of v9 should be very rewarding, try a new difficulty level? I designed it with high replayability in mind like the original game. |
