GMDX V10 is a community made update for the GMDX mod. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. It's been built to have zero obligation (should a user not prefer it) by using a separate installation and save directory. Many save files are supported retroactively, although some hiccups do occur, as this was not a strictly intended feature. In our opinion, the game looks better, runs better, is balanced better. If you're looking for a way to facelift Vanilla or simply touch up GMDX, we think you'll enjoy what we bring to the table with v10. By the community, for the community.

I've encountered another issue in the underwater lab level. After completing the objective for the universal constructor schematic and returning to the previous segment of the underwater lab, the game seems to not log any progress that I'd made in that level while also spawning in everything for the escape segment (for example, the Walton Simons fight still triggers, but all the greasels and karkians I had killed previously are alive again). Even after leaving that segment and resurfacing, the game respawns all the enemies from the first section again as if it were the first time being there. It also doesn't spawn Jock and Savage, rendering the mission unbeatable.

MessageLog:"This issue has recently been identified and will be remedied next patch. It results from an inconsistency with how map travel URLs were formatting plus the addition of the RF framework which does not tolerate it properly. Oddly this inconsistency dates back to vanilla even if the issue does not. Ocean lab appears to be the only map set influenced by this as all other travel URLs with this error are one way trips such as helicopter rides."

Glad to know it'll be fixed next patch! Though for the time being, is there a way to get around the issue? If I were to reload to a save before entering the segment (specifically before entering the submarine), would there be a chance the issue wouldn't occur?

MessageLog:"Unfortunately no. The issue is essentially hard coded and cannot be circumvented. Your flag data and other relevant pieces for the game to function should still operate however and you should be able to pass through the mission fine. If some doors do not operate you may need to incorporate cheats if unable to be bypassed by any means. However this seems like this is not the case unless Unit is mistaken?"

Yes. From what I played, once I reached the surface after going through the lab, Jock wasn't there and I wasn't able to finish the mission. I'm not sure if I would have to trigger him somehow or if I should try dealing with all of the enemies again and seeing if that changes anything.
