GMDX V10 is a community made update for the GMDX mod. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. It's been built to have zero obligation (should a user not prefer it) by using a separate installation and save directory. Many save files are supported retroactively, although some hiccups do occur, as this was not a strictly intended feature. In our opinion, the game looks better, runs better, is balanced better. If you're looking for a way to facelift Vanilla or simply touch up GMDX, we think you'll enjoy what we bring to the table with v10. By the community, for the community.

MessageLog:"Yes. The language file is the DeusEx.v10 file. The team used .v10 extension to avoid overriding the vanilla localization file [DeusEx.int] like GMDX did which compromised deus ex localization when playing the base game again. You can modify this file to make an appropriate localization. However it will be quite some work and this only covers {item names, UI text, item descriptions, player feedback messages}. For installing a localization for conversations and text files user will need to edit more tricky files. All versions of GMDX use Confix for their conversation text. User may ask one of the people who maintains Confix for more details as some users may have produced a speech and text localization of confix for the desired purposes. You may ask Moddb.com as a starting point. Additionally user should ask around various deus ex discord servers to connect with similar projects or get better advice. As the team has not localized to any languages on their own their knowledge on the process is limited."
