Awesome !! I Love this concept !
But maybe, with this you break a little bit the interest to chose either Erebor or Iron Hills... Iron Hills had the advantage to have cavalry while the others didn't but they had instead siege machines or great unit mobility...
Now they all have cavalry... :/
I suggest you make their stats differ from one faction to an other (high speed for Ered Luin, Great trample and dmg for Erebor and great armor and defense for Iron Hills) :) That's just a suggestion, you are the creator so just do what you think is good ! You did such a great job so far !!
If I can add a thing : may you create a boar visual upgrade ? like iron tusks or a third tusk on forehead (focus on damage)...

You're doing such a good job !! I can't wait for the 4.5 release !

Yes, you're kind of right, that it breaks the interest. But it is more balanced between the 3 factions, and having those type of cavalry units is interesting with every faction :)
Of course we will adjust all the units to the corresponding boni for the individual realms. As I mentioned in other posts ered luin will get speed and iron hills more armor. We just need to balance them right and everything is fun. The thing was just that the iron hill scouts were so strong, that they have had a lot of changes. It was always nice to play them, but that was kind of the thing, that was missing on the other factions.
Also i just like the basic idea that the dwarves have an individual animal, it is nice to have some diversity and to explore their cultures. I guess that i mainly made it because of that aspect xD
Also the upgrade for the boars is not implemented yet, but you will of course see them, no worries.
But we are not developing the edain mod 4.5, this is just a submod ;)

(Looks at the spelling of Erebor and of Boar) Oh, of course! I get it! Yea, that makes complete sense!

Description

For the last realm of the dwarves, we decided to give this subfaction boars. Erebor in Edain Mod takes place in the Third Age after the War of the Ring. After the Battle of the Five Armies, Thorin got mortally injured, so the title as King under the Mountain passed to Lord Dain. As King under the Mountain, Dain founded a new kingdom. A lot of dwarves from the Iron Hills settled there with their families, but also with their animals like boars and pigs, which they used to have there, to live in prosperity and wealth. Also the city of Dale and Esgaroth got rebuilt and the dwarves had a good relationship with the Men of Dale and Laketown, making them even more prosperous with the good trades they had in the south.
The Boars in our Submod will have a special upgrade, which buffs their melee damage. This should emphasize the aspect, that Erebor focuses on attack damage, while the other two realms focus more on armor and mobility.
