I've been tracking your mod for a while. Despite you took some of the work from Shockwave for the first time.
Well you probably pull it out in another level.
I hope you can fix the challenge like the main taskforce like ironside they send because the A.I itself set all of his team to hunt on the script.
Finally, someone who understands my pain...! >< Both Kwai and Ironside's Gen Challenge maps REALLY need some "fixing" for this mod due to their unbalanced ******** I mentioned earlier in the main mod page's comment section, not to mention that, sometimes, upon starting Thrax's challenge map against him, there is sometimes an early SCUD launcher that assaults one's VERY early defense building efforts, making yet another headache that's only solvable via restarting until said issue doesn't happen. For Kwai and Ironside it isn't so simple obviously, at all... DX
Now the early scud launcher is one that i never know of.
Dunno if the latest version is here but i will try to take a look of this mod if i have a time.

Gotcha. For specifics, I usually do "Hard difficulty" which is renamed to "Brutal" in Continue, but for the Land Forces and Flame General, they both require one to finish Continue's custom campaign missions since the "Choose your General" selection screen doesn't have the option to pick either the Flame nor Land Forces General in the current version, since they've been relegated to after Continue's campaign missions for some strange reason, just to let you know. Also, it may not happen the first time, but rest assured, the "Early SCUD Launcher" bug is there, i'm not one to lie about such things after all. Hell, i'll even provide a screenshot or even video proof if need be to prove i'm not lying.
But yeah, just be aware that, for the current version of Continue, both the Flame and Land Forces General's gen challenge start only occurs after completing either respective faction's Continue campaign missions, and the Gen Challenge for either begins after finishing the final Continue campaign mission for either China or USA. Completing Continue's USA custom campaign missions starts the Land Forces Gen Challenge sequence, whereas finishing Continue's China custom campaign missions starts the Flame General's gen challenge sequence.
EDIT: Here's the proof pic of the aforementioned "super early SCUD": I.imgur.com (Trust me, this appeared MUCH more earlier than it usually does, so yeah... :/ It also can appear on the other side near the far-away oil derrick after its destruction from the opposing faction's capture, so that's another thing to take note of. )
Looking at the Team List on the map, I can see why he can send that early.
There's a one specific taskforces that for some reason he put scud launcher at the first wave, Which is what happened in the screenshot
For the landforce,Flame,and Salvage general. If you want to play the challenge directly, It's require campaign.ini editing.
I can't go to the details since i forgot what inside there.
You just need to edit the start mission in which the landforce,flame,and salvage general challenge mission located.
It's a good thing I discovered that all three non-Vanilla Generals Gen Challenge can be started after finishing all five Continue missions for each respective faction, just hope the dev somehow manages to directly implement them in the "Choose your General" screen in Gen Challenge for the upcoming 2.5 release is all, among fixing the aforementioned three main issues as I stated earlier. It's a pain, but I better explain it in detail in my criginal comments, really. Ironside having a LITERAL "supernatural" Fuel Air Bomber appear out of thin air is just a cherry on top of the other unbalanced horseshit he has in his respective challenge map for instance, seriously, and don't even get me started on Kwai's 2-3 EARLY Emperor Overlord tanks... >_<
