A submod for Westeros: Total War designed to bring the look, the feel and the sounds of HBO's Game of Thrones to the world of Westeros. (Alas I have no affiliation with HBO) This submod is currently for version 0.53 of Westeros: Total War which is currently in Alpha stages but with a devoted mod team working hard to bring it to a full release. The submod is compatible with both the Standard (Vanilla) version of Westeros 0.53 and also the Enhanced version. It is highly recommended that you visit the official mod page at TWCenter.net to get precise details and installation help.
I don't know when or if these will be included in the mod. They will of course be included, but maybe not in the next release - but maybe. House Targaryen won't, and as far as the Unsullied goes they might be added to custom battles. In a future release (possibly in the summer months) we may see more.
LOOKING for someone to help import models into the game, they don't have to be modellers just have some experience editing M2 units in milkshape.
This is things like skeleton rigging and adding/changing weapons that already exist - would speed up the process if VltimaRatio could focus on just modelling!
Even though faces didn't turn out that bad someone with more experience texturing things like that would be a help, again it would free up time to make armors.
IF ANYONE could be of HELP adding unique voices to the MOD we could use that too - and finally remove the "for England"-vanilla voices from the mod!
wow! :D that would be awesome. And of course in a very late release maybe add Essos or the Targaryen faction(somehow)
The new map where we are moving this mod will include the whole of Westeros, and Essos is created - but it needs to get it's roads, resources, terrain and landscapes in order. It's currently just an empty grey continent.
I do hope that auc162 could continue work on the map while me and Vltima do other stuff. That way the whole of Westeros would be included in the mod. Because currently neither i nor Vltima can finish the Essos-thing. But the whole continent is there and has all the regions and settlements - it just needs the things mentioned above and factions.
Edit: The Targaryans can be added soon as they can spawn in Westeros. Vltima just needs to create their whole roster first - and i need to port the mod to Auc162's map.

Hey one thing i noticed and this is my opinion. Buildings are a little bit expensive and have little features for the price they have :\ For me the prices should be reduced a little bit and more buildings should produce more income and other that didn't produce income(neither public order)could add income
Yes, it's not very balanced currently.
It will get better in an update soon to be released - but i guess the buildings won't change. I'd just change the costs of units and balance stats etc.
On the new map everything will be good already. As Auc162 has finished such things.
nice :) good to see that! :D The type of buildings that exist for me it's ok. It's only the stats that are the problem(for me)
How many factions will it eventually have? I wonder if there will be smaller factions included to make it more like the show and books.

I believe Vltima wants to add Nights Watch, Wildlings, Vale Tribesmen and Targaryan basic-troops and later maybe more variations and elites, as well as peasants and more units for old factions.
Later he may well be adding unique mercs. But he is basing the units on the TV-show, and therefore i think it's hard to do mercs and others that we haven't seen in the show.
He stated today though that he wants to create good looking units based on the books also, but that's reserved for after the TV-show stuff is finished. Especially the "War of the roses"-book stuff.

NW will be delayed, I accidentally wrote over the blender file and there was no backup. But the peasants are working at least.
But I think Griff should be in, would be easier to add elephants than dragons anyway
That sucks about the Nights watch, but i myself has problems as the Virtual Store has created another M2TW-folder - so any changes i make can't show up in game.
I'd need to remove the "fake"-folder to get it to work again - but the home-edition of win-ten doesn't let me.. I need the PRO-edition and it costs 99$ or 1499sek..
And as i am buying a new computer next week i don't want to waste money on win 10 PRO. I'd get one with the PRO-version, and i will try to remove any updating tendencies in the future. I don't like updates for windows as they always seem to **** up things that work fine.
There is a possibility to re-modify the mammuths of AsoiaF:TW later.
I solved it by moving the M2TW-folder outside of Program Files (X86).
I think that Essos cities must have a very big income, so they could afford big number of mercenaries.
Unfortunately this unit won't be included - Vltima seems to have sent me the wrong unit cause it looks nothing like in this picture. It's named Targaryen_Spearmen and has the spear and shield - but the body is just an ordinary northern unit..
So disappointing.
