New "Castle Black" Custom Settlement made by Makayane! image - Game of Thrones mod for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms
A submod for Westeros: Total War designed to bring the look, the feel and the sounds of HBO's Game of Thrones to the world of Westeros. (Alas I have no affiliation with HBO) This submod is currently for version 0.53 of Westeros: Total War which is currently in Alpha stages but with a devoted mod team working hard to bring it to a full release. The submod is compatible with both the Standard (Vanilla) version of Westeros 0.53 and also the Enhanced version. So Makayane had created a "Castle Black" custom settlement for Westeros 1.0, but the settlement would always CTD (Crash to Desktop) when attempting to play a battle there - that is until I tinkered with it and managed to get it to load in GoT Enhanced 5.5 which is releasing it's first beta version now!
The city is in use by all three castles at the wall - and it will assimilate into the terrain. You will see that Makayane managed to make the wall follow the terrain so that it doesn't feel like the same battle. The wall has different borders based on where you fight so that it feels like you are in the middle, to the left or to the right - of course the buildings are the same.
