This mod is a Galaxy On Fire 1 version of my GoF2 Google Translate Edition mod. It replaces the english language file with a version that has been translated multiple times in google translate, leading to hilarious results.
Some time ago I finished the GOF2 Google Translate Mod, after which I took a small break from modding. After some time I came across a post on the Kaamo Club Discord, mentioning that GOF3D, the very first Galaxy On Fire Game, is playable on a symbian emulator. Before this, I assumed playing GOF3D was near impossible, as it's no longer supported on modern mobile phones and requires the user to have an old iOS device, as well as the game already downloaded at some point in time. Although the game is in my iCloud "purchased apps" sections, I lack the former requirement. After loading the game into the symbian emulator EKA2L1, i saw that the game uses the same language file format as GOF2. This gave me the idea to make a GOF3D version of my Google Translate mod.
The code I used to make the mod is available on GitHub. If you want to make an even more broken translation, you can just clone the repo, change the amount of translations and then run the translations.py script. I would love to see others play around with the GitHub repo.
The first release for symbian can be found here on the ModDB page.
