I don't get it, these are all just pics of real world locations?

The 2 on the left are screens from map(s). Did you really think they were from real live? That is THE best compliment you can give Eyaura!

The visual improvements are nice but are you going to improve. navigation clarity too? There were many moments where I would get stuck trying to figure out where to go next.

I could never complete the 2011 beta because of this.

I will definitely make the main path clearer. I know it was an issue.

I always love it when real live is used as inspiration for maps, they make that maps get that bit extra that makes them extra believable.
Awesome work Eyaura, your doing great!

Great work!
Just wondering, is the desolate look with no signs of life (blind windows, no hanging clothes outside etc.) intentional or it will be different later with detailing?
Cheers!

All the areas are desolate some completely some partially. Many people went off world. Venus, Mars, Moon, and even the outer solar system like the moons of Saturn, and Jupiter.

There are some human colonies pretty much on every notable moon/planet within the solar system. Many of these outposts are tiny but the major places where there are millions and even tens of millions is in earth's orbit, mars, the moon and even Venus hit over a million by now ;)

No faster than light speed here tho so only in the solar system. G String is a more scientific version of Star Wars.

Looks similar to either the area where Myo fights her first "Hover Drone" in or the place where she proceeds past both a small sewer (the one with the red light and VERY unforgettable scream sounds that still remain memorable to this day... ^^ ) and an abandoned complex of buildings that were recently in use (The part with the speakers on the buildings playing a pre-recording of some Asian language it seems), but most likely got left by its former inhabitants rather quickly due to Myo's gradually growing image of being a VERY dangerous person that the government scapegoats into being an evil person when, in truth, she's just eliminating those filthy "paid killers" sent by the aforementioned "government" of tha NAU of course, though with her anomalous powers growing (And with even miniature sparks of electricity emanating from her no less... >:D ) I can understand why some would think otherwise, ah well. Just goes to show that Myo is simply paying those bastards back for the former hell of a life she had prior of course. :>

Either way, it's looking absolutely incredible as always Eyaura, being dead serious here. <3

Make it on Steam and I will buy it. Twice, if I could.

Description

It's been about a month so... monthly update... this time with reference images thrown in for good measure... What I am going for. It's hastily photoshopped together, apologies I have no time but it gives an idea what's happening.
Working hard. I can pump out a map in roughly two weeks. Pretty good speed but

I always wish I could go faster. Thing is I tried and I think i'll burn out lol. So two weeks is a safe speed. It's only possible cause I have existing geo and prefabs to work off. Otherwise a month is a minimum for a decent map.

Can you guess what area of the beta this is? I am finally updating these maps. Obviously this is under detailed. It needs a few more days of love.

So what can I say, a lot is done but quite a bit is left, the ending part really.

Donations welcome, super thankful to everyone who chipped in.
