According to the original plan, I should have released an updated version three months ago. But we all know that things don't go as planned.
I'm suddenly busy with my life, so I don't have as much free time as I used to. In addition to this version we are currently uploading, the next update will also be very slow.
Also, at this time, this version also did not achieve the originally planned scope of completion.
Simply put, this is an unfinished version. But there are people waiting, so I wanted to entertain them. There is no big change as much as the long wait, but I would appreciate it if you enjoyed my Sub Mod
How to install?
It's just like any other mod you play.
However, since this mod works as a sub-mod of the Unification Mod, prior installation of the Unification Mod is essential.
Unzip to the Dawn of War installation folder and run the module file with the mod manager.
There are two types of module files.
1. Vanilla Unification Executable Module
2. Ultimate Unification Execution Module (Addon by Corncobman)
Among the two execution modules, you can select and execute the one you want.

-IDH (Grey Knights)
-All Gray Knight infantry units, including the Terminator, have a new visual FX for their power weapons. The look of this FX is built to fit the latest codex (For Hammer, no changes yet. :( )
- Added eye glow effect to Terminator. You can see the light effect in the eye area of the helmet.
- The FX of Purge, the active skill of the Commander Unit (Chapter Master), has been newly changed. This FX is inspired by SC2's Psionic storm.
-When casting the Psychic skill (Active), a more colorful visual depiction has been added around the caster character. This effect can be witnessed by units such as Chapter Masters and Librarians. Also, this FX effect is sometimes activated as a special attack once during a normal attack.
-All SM race (Space marines)
-Added a new shooting FX effect to the sniper weapon used by the Scout Marine.
-Replaced Librarian's active skill "smite" with a new Fx.
In addition, SM's Librarian also applies the FX effect that occurs to the character when casting the skill. (Described in the 3rd log of IDH)

This mod is an addon FX Pack for Unification Mod - Dawn of War: SoulStorm A lot of changes were made to the SM and IG races, and minor changes were made to all other races.
Orbital bombardment and knights, wheelwinds and many other various units provide visual pleasure.
If you use this addon
The game's FPS may be lower than usual. (no big difference)

There are two startup files.
This can be used with Corncobman's Unlimited or
A module file divided for standalone use.
But keep in mind The next release version of the unification mod will have official FX changes. Of course, in my opinion, there will not be much overlap with my Addon. If the next version comes out later, you should check it carefully before using it !

i've found a very minor thing that can easily be considered nitpick - DE apothecary's mace has the blue glowing effect extended beyound the model, in the same shape as the halberds used by the grey knights purgigators and terminators (there's no requirement to reshape it, can be removed so it is like chaplain's mace).

Chaos Space Marine Leader gets turned into a pink box when he does the daemon prince ascension.
Did you run the game with the normal installation and execution method?
I've checked, but I can't confirm this at all with Chaos Commander..
I will reply further. There is no Fx that has been changed or modified in the process of ascension of the Chaos Commander to the Demon Prince. In other words, it's the vanilla of the Unification mod.
I unzipped into the correct folder, and merged the mod with unification using the mod manager.
There is already a dedicated module file that has been modified to work with Unification. You don't have to merge them yourself. Modules included in the compression are already modified module files.
Also, this sub mod guarantees compatibility only with Unification mod.
I believe I see where I made my mistake. I'd added both modules to the installation folder, but tried to merge one with unification, when in reality I should just run it with the mod manager. Silly mistake.
Only issue I have now is that the the mod manager claims the unification patch is missing for Unification Fx, and the patch isn't showing up in my folder, but I know its there as I have no issues playing the most up to date version of Unification. 1 step forward, 2 steps back lol.
Are you playing 5.91?
That's the latest.
if something weird happened and your modules say 5.91, but unification patch folder is not there.
Just reapply the patch.
Any plans to update this? sadly it seems we cannot use it now without a Unification_Patch file that the Mod Manager says is MISSING... :/
