On this day exactly one year ago, we announced the FXmod's RPG Mode project for Homeworld to the public. Today, on Homeworld's 21st anniversary, we'd like to give you a first look at (some of) the first tangible results after 5 years of working on this mode.
These 5-minutes showcase some basic gameplay in a very early first version of RPG Mode. Shown in this video are one of the new maps and OSTs, the Objectives system (one of the three new quest types) and Travel system.
Please note that the assets in this video are not finalized yet. The UI, skill system, map and others are bound to be polished further before the first DEMO release.

which is kinda ironic, considering that Star Wolves was clearly inspired by Homeworld series :D
not really. Maybe the strategy aspect but I don't think that the game built exactly like homeworld in other plans
