The roof shows shadows and direct light, but the specular off the roof is causing a blend between the two, acting like outside light bouncing into the shadows and reflecting off the roof tiles. This creates more body, depth and complexity to the lighting. It also hides how blocky the shadow edges can be sometimes. The vehicle has a dulled shine on it's clear-coat, and the tires have a very slight shine on the rubber treads. The trees are also showing a bit of body and depth as they have a bit of light reflected in the shadow to create volume.
