This project was designed to duplicate, as closely as possible, the "feel" of Tachyon: The Fringe, to the Freespace 2 game engine. We have since changed gears, and have begun development in Unreal Engine 4.
This new project is codenamed "Ripstar".
Tachyon was always plagued by bugs, hacking, and lack of updates. This mod was an attempt to rectify most of the egregious problems, and to update the playing experience for Tachyon fans.
