G41 was a very bad gun. Very complicated and soldiers didnt like it. There werent much of them. Only some on Eastern Front. Sorry for my english.
Cheers
Both of them were bad ACTUALLY.
They both used an overcomplicated gas operating systems (known as Retarded Blowback) involving trapped muzzle blast at the end of the rifle, similar to the Vickers MMG. Although the vickers only used the retarded blowback system to increase the ROF, not as the main device of which to reload the weapon.
The G41 and G43 Operated almost entirely the same.
That´s not entirely correct!
The G41(W) shared the action with the G43, but used a Bang-type muzzle gas system, while the G43 used the much more effective and reliable gas system of the Tokarev SVT-40!
So, although maybe not as reliable as the Garand or SVT-40, the G43 was a pretty reliable Weapon compared to the G41 Variants!
Yeah...i dont know why people keep on posting Bull**** that is obviously not based on any facts just so they look smart :S Annoying realy.
yeah! Cos everyone knows that the g43 was from star wars! (sarcasm incase you find't guess already)
Which G41 are we talking about here? The one made by Walther or Mauser?
I was also under the impression that the G43 used an SVT40 style action.
No, it used a different means to re-**** the bolt. Totally different gas system.
Wish there were SVT40 and Russians...
Ahh so do i.... (sighs longingly)
Damn, these are the nicest 3d sights I've ever seen
