Why modern Finnish Airforce Roundel and not the historical Blue Swastika, similar to what Finnish Army had on their tanks, Black Swastika?

Hold up, Germany actually reversed that law last year it was in the news.

I mean, I can keep posting links, but this is old news now. This happened in August 2018.

I guess not everybody got the memo? Germany finally considers games an art form. When done in a historical context it is fine.

You'll have to apply for it thought and it is not "everyone gets a free pass" thing. You'll still have to jump through hurdles to get something like FH2 approved for it. Im not entirely sure about it but our german devs have mentioned it might even cost a pretty penny. Is it worth the hassle? Not really.

Only movie and educational purpose are allowed to use Swastika based on Strafgesetzbuch 86a (crime code). Russia banned Nazi swastika as well too.
Anyways, Bf109G Finnish skin looks good

Finnish swastika is not the Nazi swastika so Germany should not be bothered about that one!

Description

The Finns bought 162 of the G series starting in 1943, with the first batch arriving in March. 48 of these were the G-2 variant. The Finns had great success with their Messerschmitts, scoring 667 victories for 34 losses in the air. After the war, they would continue in service with the Finish Airforce until 1954.

Our BF 109G-2 was originally made by Toddel, with Finnish markings added by Matt Baker.
