On Star Trek TOS, you will see a complete mod from the Kirk era made with the stuff from Star Fleet Command TOS mod and many more new things. Thanks to all these creators, this mod will be finished very fast and with great quality. At a first place the mod will add only space combat but for a non too far future, I wait add ground units.

I was lucky because I could contact them. Fortunately even if the last work from from the SBP07 team was years ago, some of them continue online. Thanks to them by this good model.
Remember it will not be the last station but the three for each faction at skirmiss are added and sooner I will start to work on the maps. The maps, all them from space will not be too big. I will use sizes from the original game but they will be fun with stations and more surprises at them.;)

Not really. The stations range of fire is small and if you give the order to a cruiser from orbit around it (with rally points), you can destroy it without a big fleet.
Other point are the differences of power between starships. There are starships which they are more powerful than this starbase and they can destroy it alone.
