Today I have received a gift from Warb_Null, the Bothan Frigate. Nawrocki probably will edit the texture soon but meantime you can see how it is the model made following a design from Drone. Drone04.page.tl With this model all the big starships from Drone will be on the mod.

Yep it is true. I do not know what will be from all us now. I´m curious about the future from lucasarts, the games, books, comics and of course the mods.
About why it was sold, personally I feel that Lucas was tired from SW and he had problems for gain money with it.

What does this mean for the future of Star Wars games!?
By the moment nothing. Disney is the owner but they do not go to stop any proyect and we do not know if they will make more games. So long lucasarts give money, probably they do not change nothing.
Hopefully Disney is smart and gives us BFIII, not made kid friendly.
Just curious and I feel that I know the answer. How many games have published disney? I do not wait any change with these things, specially because a small piece from the agreement was keep the workers from all lucas companies. If they would make a new begining with lucasarts, probably we would see some new.
First: that is one sweet ship!
Second: of all the entities to sell LucasArts to, why in the name of Star Wars did George pick Disney? Surely there are other corporations on our planet that would have paid more for it, and stayed truer to the vision of Star Wars that George so wonderfully instilled in each of us! Sheesh!
I can imagine that Disney has signed some special conditions and if you have not seen it, lucasfilms has not dissapeared, Kathleen Kennedy will the president and george lucas continue being the creative adviser. These are two curious points. Other point is how Disney has bought everything, even lucasarts, it will be probably the most interesting for us, I wait that they do not try close the mods and they make more new games from SW because the past years we could see how all the saga was forgotten and we have seen very few new games when they could make easily many new things.
I am guessing Thrawn era, it would have interesting to see Emperor Reborn and the world devastators, but I think Thrawn makes most sense.

If you check the past, lucasfilms has not taken too ideas from books or another source made by others, even if they were licensed by lucasfilms.

It makes sense to us, but the Thrawn Campaign was more of a thinking man's war, not the epic fleet battles and pure chaos of a war that sells most movies nowadays. I think Operation Shadow Hand makes the most sense, as it has an evil enemy (Palpatine), a little room for drama (Leia pregnant with Anakin), epic battles (Mon Cal, Byss, Coruscant, etc.), and room for plenty of lightsaber duels (Luke and remaining Jedi vs. Palptine and Dark Side Elite).
Disney has used other times plots from comics and books but I would be surprised if they use it here by one reason, the rights, probably they do not want pay to more people and the SW universe is infinite, they can change everything and all the people will be happy.
This model looks GREAT.
I have no doubts that Nawrocki will work some even more spectacular magic on it.

Tell me, what have we before this? nothing, there was not a episode 7 proyect and in fact most of the SW universe is very dead because George Lucas did not want explore new options.
I read an article the other day that Episodes 7, 8 , and 9 are planned and the first one will be during Anakin and Ben Solo's early days as padawans, so not Yuuzhan Vong era, and definitely not Legacy Era, possibly Thrawn era, but I'm guessing it will be after Thrawn's era.
It has not sense because they have told that they would make the continuation from the episode VI. Perhaps you have misunderstanding a small thing, they have made plans for more of three films. I can imagine that they will make other films centering the action on one character from films as they are making with the Avengers.

I'm telling you what I read, Byron gave me the link dude, Spino saw it as well. They gave a short view of whats to come and it had to do with Dark Jedi attacking the Jedi temple on Bespin and more Dark Jedi infiltrating the temple on Coruscant where Ben and Anakin were heading (it even says Padawans Ben and Anakin Solo).
I can tell you at 100% that Disney has not published a plot about the episode 7. Only because they have called to it the episode 7, we can think that it is the continuation from the episode VI.
There are many speculation around the net and most of it is only theory.
Other point would be if you remember the previous films, you will know how the plot was not published years before the film and this happens with most of the good films, by example the new Superman, it will be published the next year but what do we know? very very few, nobody know if it is a continuation or a film with a new plot.
Go ask Byron or Spino, they will tell you exactly what I said.
The unique words this week from Lucasfilms and if you do not know it, they have sold the rights but they will make the films, they were how the next film will be a original Star Wars story. With this you can know very well how it will not follow the novels, comics or other previous source because Lucasfilms thinks that it is not original.
