Firearms: Source is a team based first person shooter, rooted in the traditions of the Firearms mod for Half-Life. Firearms: Source brings the best aspects of Firearms to the Source engine, and then takes them a step further. You'll see a host of familiar weapons and maps, but you'll find the streamlined game play to be faster, focusing on aggressive, skilled play. From nearly the moment you spawn you can expect to be engaged in furious action.

A more common variant of the AK5 is the FN FNC (Which the AK5 is a licensed copy of, with only a few aesthetic differences. Much like the AK4 was a copy of this gun). I don't find it all that unlikely that a FNC might be implemented in this mod at some point.
Ahh, my favorite gun! Mine had wooden parts instead of plastics... of course it was ages ago in the German Federal Armed Forces...

g3 is the best assault weapon....but has just a 20round clip...
What it lacks in capacity it makes up in power 7.62 x 51mm(.308) vs 5.56 x 45mm(.223) that most assault rifles use.

Hmmm I've already asked but seeing as VGL has a obvious talent for texturing and implenting awsome weapons into the source engine.... could you add in the Ukrainain Vepr SMG? it is a very awsome weapon. It is a Bullpup SMG based on the AK design that fires Rifle Rounds. I think it can be very interesting in FA:S...
