Firearms: Source is a team based first person shooter, rooted in the traditions of the Firearms mod for Half-Life. Firearms: Source brings the best aspects of Firearms to the Source engine, and then takes them a step further. You'll see a host of familiar weapons and maps, but you'll find the streamlined game play to be faster, focusing on aggressive, skilled play. From nearly the moment you spawn you can expect to be engaged in furious action.

wow - with tracers you should be able to customise where in the clip/ratio like you could decide to have 1:3 tracers or 1:100 or all tracers - that way you can personally offset accuracy bonus against tracers pointing both ways to suit your gameplay -
just an idea, probably tricky
Tracers don't really provide much of an accuracy bonus as you do actually have a crosshair (I had turned the HUD off for demonstration purposes) So people would just set their tracer ratio to the minimum amount, making their MG positions much more difficult to quickly recognize.

Hell, this looks amazing. I really like all the effects, but I dislike the amount of blood on the decals left on walls when a player gets shot. Make it smaller please.
Utterly freaking fantastic. (on a side note, there is a finger snap at the end of the glock reload :P)
Wow, I'm impressed. Looks like the animations got an overhaul, the game appears to feel much less HL-mod-ish in the video. I like what I see. Good job! Those animations and effects are pretty sexy.
Looks really great, although I must agree that the blood is slightly excessive, decreasing the amount of blood splatter on the shots would be great, or at least give the option to do so if wanted.
Also, around the 1minute of the video or so, a player was shooting near a tree, and with each shot the tree flickered from the light, also the frag grenade does, in my opinion, too much smoke.
But overall, looks amazing.
