The first Cybran Dropable Spaceship image - (F.B.P.) Future Battlefield Pack [Modproject] for Supreme Commander
Hello Commanders, welcome to my big Modproject, which is seperated into several Unitmods: Future Battlefield Pack Legends, (F.B.P.) Orbital , (F.B.P.) Elite ACUs, (F.B.P.) Civilians, (F.B.P.) New Techs, (F.B.P.) Defenses, (F.B.P.) Kaiju War and (F.B.P.) Infantry Warfare. Playable on Supreme Commander 1 and Forged Alliance.
Several of you will remember the Battleship Movie, which comes out in 2012.
But what if the cybrans have similar spaceships in Supcom as well?
Well FBP orbital will include a whole series of these spaceships for the cybrans in the future. These are escort spaceships that are mainly used in space against starfighters, bombers and many more. However, these spaceships are dropable on the water surface of a Terran planet and can be used as an Mobile Naval Weapon Platform. It is not a stationary unit, but the platform can also move like a ship. However, not in the traditional sense like a normal ship but with the help of a walk/jump animation. That Means the unit jumps on the water to a different position like the alien spaceships in the movie Battleship. On the planet, it is equipped with the so-called spike grenade launchers, which can be used against enemy naval units as well as against fortifications. In addition, there will be several tactical rocket launchers which, in addition to the primary weapon, will also provide long-range fire support. This unit will be available in the next FBP orbital Early Access update. However, as this is a series of spaceships, we will see many more with different designs, weapons, abilities and much more. Be sure to stay tuned for the other units of this starship type.
Cool to see this mod still being worked on. Also, will we have to download from GitHub from now on or will you put the files on moddb?

However since my main development focus is on FBP Orbital for a while. I don't work anytime on new planetary Units, which can be presented here on this Moddb Page as an Update. The Spaceships and other Space related Units are presented on the official Moddb Page for FBP Orbital for sorting reasons.

Other FBP Mods (FBP New Techs, Defenses and so on)
Regular Planetary Units like:
Vehicles, Bots, Walkers, Naval Units Structures and some other.
Sometimes interesting Hybrids from FBP Orbital (if there are dropable on the Planet).
These Units will be presented here on this Moddb Page.
The Hybrids are an exception and will be presented on both Moddb Pages.
The dropable Cybran Spaceship is an example for an Hybrid because it is able to be dropped on the Planetary Ocean. After that it can be used as an Naval Unit. The Picture above presents the first one of this new Series of Spaceships. So we will see more of them soon. Here and on the FBP Orbital Moddb Page.
Regarding to your Question:
Mostly of the FBP Mods, which are currently in development will be released on this Moddb Page in the future. FBP Orbital is the exception in this case and will be released only on its own Moddb Page instead of here. Github is currently the opportunity to get an Early Access of all FBP Mods before they will be officially released on Moddb or the FAF Modvault.
