Extended Cultures V version 1.1 installer. This version is not savegame compatible with previous version
Installation instruction:
1) Run XC_5_1.1.exe. Then selects your installer option. After that you would need to choose path for you to install. The rest of the process is automatic. I'd recommend choosing Seleucid Satrapies and BI.exe. When the installation is finished, a window "Completing Extended Cultures Setup" with Finish button will appear. Press Finish.
2) For person who use Steam BI, follow instruction in Moddb.com to run game as you could not launch it through shortcut on desktop given by installer.

Start the mod with a shortcut Extended Cultures V unless you are play with steam BI

- Installer update, now it support all platform and coming as single file to reduce complexity which lead to installation problem of those previous versions.

- New historical battles based on works in Europa Barbarorum and Ninjacool historical battles which have vanilla unused text contents

Next year, if I have time, now I successful in make campaign stable enough to start bearing trait system. But as you know, I get older and older and time is less and less. I now need to finished my thesis so I would able to coding again after February next year.

Due to now every factions have some units which requires reform so I think is unfair for reform to only depending on single faction like Rome.

Hi can you install other mods with yours like darthmod or terrae expugnandae?
It could install with other mod unless that other mod not use mod folder due to game install in separate folder not overwrite vanilla data folder. Effect of Use mod that overwrite vanilla data folder would be mess up of game UI and some other aspect.

Hi how do you recruit Hastati and Triarii?
Hastati requires roman barracks, metalworking community, craftmen community, and must be recruit from Italy, and must not have marian reform
Triarii requires roman army barracks, forum or curia, and must be recruit from Italy, and must not have marian reform
How to recruit them could be read in building browser of barracks, most of detail how to recruit are written there.
I have all the barracks in rome I can recruit triarii and principes now but hastati are not on the list
Please read building description. Now barrack is not only requirement for units anymore, you need other building along with barrack too. In case of Hastati, you also need metalworking community, craftmen community and must be recruit in Italian peninsular.
Sorry one last question is that just in Rome because I can only recruit in Rome ?
You could recruit it in Bovianum, Capua, Arretium, Roma, Volsinium, Rhegion, Taras if you have all of buildings it required there.

actually, roman barracks do not have description for recruitment requirements. although, roman units do.
Thanks for report problem, description is broken due to I using wrong kind of bracket. Due to I have to finish my thesis, release of bug fix version would have to wait for a month or two.

To make it easier for new people, when u go to export_buildings.txt go to "Edit" and then Find and enter Samnite Milites and change it.

It is intentionally uncapturable. It plays role as keystone for many mechanism in game, I could not allow it to be captured, I will looking for script for taken last settlement later when I working on script.

Yes. you could have both mod installed at the same time, it not interfere with one another apart from no redline option.

but i got question how marian reform happen ? a city should to reach and upgrade to huge city right ?
Now reform would be trigger by greek instead of roman by build imperial_palace (upgrade to huge city) in hellenistic area.
so i need to build a imperial_palace for example in Athens
or reform is just for greek factions ?
Only greek factions could trigger it, but everyone would gain from such event.
i take all greek regions as rome and there is no more macedon or greeks or epirus
so reform wont happen at all ?
if thats correct can u plz tell me what file should i change so this event happen for roman and eastern like before

Bactria could trigger it in Baktra if it still survive.
The change involve swap culture of roman_julii and romans_scipii from greek to roman in descr_sm_factions.txt (may sound counter-intuitive but currently roman use internal culture greek and greek using internal culture roman so that greek would become one which could trigger it. You could temporary change culture of romans_julii and romans_scipii to "roman" and build imperial palace on region in red area in picture of this thread.

hey, every time I try to launch it with steam BI (following the instructions) an error stops it saying "script error in xc5/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 658 invaild ownership type gauls' found in unit barb chieftan cavalry early." how can I fix this?
How you launch steam BI version? by launcher from steam library? If you done everything correctly, there is possibility that something not untag properly in descr_sm_factions.txt and there must be some problematic tagging with ";" in wrong place somewhere. Could you show me content of that file?

Something is wrong here, you should try redownload from alterantive location and reinstall it to see if mod still have problem or not.
Btw, steam BI could not run from shortcut so you need to run it through steam library, and set loading option (right click on game name and select property) " -show_err -nm -mod:xc5" and always loading from steam library (it would have option to select between Rome total War and Barbarian Invasion, select barbarian invasion)
